Hugh Jackman reveals that his first reason for choosing to play the role of Gary Hart in The Front Runner was because the director was Jason Reitman. He says after reading the script he really enjoyed it, calling it funny and emotional. He admits it was daunting because Gary Hart is now a friend and Hugh wanted to do the role justice.
