Waste of money

July 20, 2023

Went for their “barbie blowout” and it was literally just a screening of barbie. No swag, no photo ops…. Just a screening of the movie where they made us wait to get started because half the ticket holders didnt show. The employees were super nice but for an $$ theater in the middle of bellevue they could have done something. Just utterly killed the vibe.

a solid theater experience

July 20, 2021

while its not the best theater ever made its location near the mall and its decently large selection of food along with its 16 screens and usual hosting of Fathom Event screenings makes this a more unique theater from the rest it does sometimes host indie films and other artsy films and while all that is great the only thing i might have a complaint about is the fact that they still use "stadium seating" meaning no recliners or other nice bits like that but for stadium seats these are far from the worst .. reasonably solid and soft seats with some movement allow for a reasonable pseudo recline experience and their IMAX Auditoriums (they have 2 of these) have really decent Imax screens (saw Hobbit HFR there and it was a solid experience) customer service while not something i take advantage of often has almost always been solid and helpful ignore the reviews written by cheap sods who try to use month old tickets as those are not an accurate representation of a reasonable persons evening in the theater

Customer Service Could use some Service

October 20, 2017

I went to go see the 6:40pm Showing of Blade Runner in IMAX on 10/19/2017. I paid $19 for the ticket. Halfway thru the movie. The Theater lights came on. This ruined the movie, I went down to inform the Customer service folks. They were quite dismissive. I went back and took my seat. The lights stayed on for about 30 more minutes. Someone did come to the theater to check on the lights. We could hear someone talking to them thru the radio the entire time. Needless to say. I have been going to this theater for 10 years. This experience has made me rethink the next time I will come here.

Shameless people

May 08, 2017

I felt embarrassed before my kids after finding out that that tickets replacement they sold me couldn't be used. A month ago we were sold tickets wrongly for a movie that hadn't come out yet, I went to the service desk and the person was very nice "so I thought", refused to give my money back and convinced me to accept three replacement tickets in stead of my money back. He promised me that I could watch "any" 3D movies with my kids with those cards. At the moment I didn't suspect anything and trusted the dishonest employee for this dishonest company "Cinemark" with a good heart since we go watch movies all the time on that theater. So I went last night with my boys for movie night and I so embarrassed when I gave my cards to pay for the tickets and the teller looked at me and told me that the cards were not good for that movie, it was a big line many people watching and I asked him why was that, he said I couldn't use gift cards for that movie, I said that I actually bought those with money and explained to him the situation, but he was so aggressive and cold. To avoid more embarrassment I decided to pay for new tickets. This people are shameless and dishonest. This was the last time I or any member of my family went to a cinemark theater. It's very said when we see business in our country being conducted with complete disregards to honesty, integrity and human kind. Shame on you
