Love our Silverado

We love this theater easy to access and close to home. Went to watch the minion movie today. They were out of large pop corn containers but failed to tell us this before we purchased the Mega. The solution was one small bag for thev2 of us and just come back as many times for endless refills. I don't know about you but once I'm in my seat, unless I'm about to pee myself, I don't leave the movie. Luckily the MOD was kind enough to allow us to each have our own bag...thank you for that!

CASHLESS SYSTEM IS EVIL ON DISPLAY!!!!

Santikos WAS my favorite movie theater chain. The theaters and bathrooms are always clean and we'll maintained. In fact, that's why they WERE my favorite. BUT NOW, since COVID, they have instituted a cashless policy. This policy FORCES YOU to purchase THEIR gift card in order to buy tickets or food at concession stands. This is evil on display. Gone are the days when you could purchase a ticket and snack PRIVATELY! Now they want to track who spends, how much you spend, which movies you watch and what types of snacks you eat. It's none of their business! Once you sell the ticket, that should be where it ends! And, if you do purchase a gift card and don't use every last cent on it, you get no refund. This forces customers to either use the money remaining on the card in their theater or take a loss. Of course there will be money left on every card but they aren't even re-loadable so you must purchase another card next time you visit in order to complete transactions. This is thievery. This company went from being the best to the worst in my book. I will never set foot in another Santikos theater again. And don't cry about COVID! You lose that argument as soon as you make customers all use the same touch screens to purchase their tickets without sanitizing them between customers. Everyone touching the same screens would increase contamination and help the virus to spread, not decrease it. If touch screens are ok, then cash should be ok. Additionally, I find it laughable that you actually have a customer service rating section at the top...when you actually provide no service. Unless snacks are purchased, the customer is forced to wait on themselves from the time they walk through the door. This company and the evil people running it should be ashamed of themselves! And because they are so evil, I doubt a single one of their executives will have the intestinal fortitude to contact me, even though I'm leaving my ema

Love this place

I love going to the Silverado. I was really happy when they opened back up. They have a variety of movies. The popcorn is great and the staff is always friendly!!! The rewards program is also really nice.

NO CASH POLICY SUCKS!!!!!!!!

I won't be returning to this theatre; this cashless business model is crap. Do NOT try and defend it with "But...COVID...." as this would have been decided long before COVID. This is aimed at loss control and payroll reduction. Gift Cards? Really? And no way to get you cash back if you don't use the gift card? The HELL with you people.
