In the restricted trailer for Bad Santa 2, cheery holiday music plays out as we witness Willie (Billy Bob Thornton), who's dressed as Santa, down two drinks. A young boy sits on his lap and asks him why he has two beards, to which Willie replies, "That's none of your f*cking business."

As the trailer continues, we see Willie reunite with his sidekick Marcus (Tony Cox) and cross paths with his mother (Kathy Bates). It becomes clear that the trio's mission is to swindle money from a charity on Christmas Eve. The event is being put on by Diane (Christina Hendricks), a sweet woman with a naughty streak that Willie aims to explore. As a subplot, the criminals have to deal with an overweight, inexperienced accomplice.
