In the new trailer for Beautiful Boy, Dave Sheff (Steve Carrell) learns about his son Nic’s (Timothée Chalamet) meth addiction and is in disbelief. We see images of Nic growing up and then gradually spiralling further into his addiction as Dave says he doesn’t recognize his son anymore. At the end of the trailer, Nic admits it’s hard to get sober, but loves his family and wants them to be proud of him.
