After moving, Anthony (Yahya Abdul-Mateen II) meets an old-timer who has lived in the neighborhood for years. He tells Anthony about an urban legend that forewarns of a man in the mirror who will kill you if you say his name, Candyman, five times. Intrigued, Anthony begins to explore the area in search of the enigmatic demon by taking pictures with his camera. But what he finds is far more sinister than he expected.
