Things have gone very wrong for Johnny Lawrence (William Zabka), whose student Miguel has wound up in a hospital bed after a fight broke out at school. Johnny's students no longer respect him, and his dojo has been taken over by his old sensei, John Kreese (Martin Kove), who has been teaching the kids to be bullies and show no mercy. Daniel LaRusso (Ralph Macchio) decides he and Johnny should team up to put a stop to Kreese.
