In the trailer for Coffee & Kareem, inept police officer Coffee (Ed Helms) is dating Vanessa Manning (Taraji P. Henson), who has a teenage son, Kareem (Terrence Little Gardenhigh). Despite his best efforts, Kareem hates Coffee and hires a gang to kill him. When the plan backfires, the two have to team up to stop the criminals from going after Kareem and his mother.
