In this first trailer for Moana, the upcoming animated film by the creators of Zootopia and Frozen, a voice asks the question, "Do you know who Maui is?" As the voice explains, Maui is the "greatest demigod in all the Pacific islands" with feats to his credit such as slowing down the Sun, pulling islands from the sea's floor and battling monsters. As soon as Maui's accomplishments are done being listed, it's revealed that the voice describing them is, well, Maui's himself.

Maui (voiced by Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson) is outlining his exploits to a young girl named Moana who sits fireside listening to his stories, evidently unimpressed. Together, Maui and Moana embark on a thrilling adventure to save her people.
