Todd Walkley (Jesse Williams) is the creator of the famous Slasherman comic book series but when he runs into writer's block and can't come up with the end for his new book, he embarks on a road trip with his wife (Jordana Brewster), assistant (Niamh Wilson) and best friend (Jay Baruchel). On a rainy night, a car breaks down in the middle of nowhere with a group of young people inside. A man dressed like Slasherman approaches their car. It turns out that there's a killer running around recreating the murders from the comics.
