In the Comic-Con Trailer for Riverdale: Season 2, we hear Jughead (Cole Sprouse) saying, "People will look back on this as the exact moment that last bit of Riverdale's innocence finally died." We then see Archie (K.J. Apa) dragging his father, who was shot, into a hospital. He tells his friends what happened, but stops short of saying something about the shooter, which doesn't get by Jughead. Jughead thinks the shooting might have been a hit, while Pop (Alvin Sanders) compares the shooter to the Angel of Death. Meanwhile, Cheryl (Madelaine Petsch) consoles her heavily bandaged mother in hospital, saying things will be all right, but her mother looks terrified.
