Millions of miles from home, Launch support engineer Michael Adams (Shamier Anderson) finds himself on a ship headed for Mars as an accidental stowaway. On board, Michael meets the crew, Dr. Zoe Levenson (Anna Kendrick), David Kim (Daniel Dae Kim), and Marina Barnett (Toni Collette). Having left his sister alone on Earth, Michael must now adapt to life in space, as the crew's mission to inhabit Mars will take two years. Unfortunately, due to damage to the ship's life support systems, the crew now only have enough oxygen on board for three people, forcing Michael and Zoe to risk their own lives in order for all of them to live, and complete the mission.
