In the teaser trailer for Venom, a man is being scanned in a CT machine. In a voiceover, we hear Eddie Brock (Tom Hardy) saying, "Everyone's got their thing. Maybe it's a breakup, a death, an accident. Whatever it is, you used to be one thing. Now, you're something else." We see him open his eyes as he's still on the CT machine bed. We then see him riding a motorcycle and causing an accident, running through a forest, and falling into water.
