In the trailer for Defending Jacob, a boy is found dead in the woods and the police tell Andy Barber (Chris Evans) that the print they lifted from the victim is from his son, Jacob (Jaeden Martell). Jacob says he didn't do anything, but he's told that he'll be tried as an adult. As their world crumbles, his parents begin to have doubts about his innocence.
