Date of Birth: March 27, 1988

Born in Manchester, England, Holliday Grainger began acting a young age when she was cast in a regular role at age six on the 1994 BBC series All Quiet on the Preston Front. Although the series lasted only one season, she soon landed roles in a variety of TV movies.

By the time she was 15, Holliday was a series regular on the TV series Where the Heart Is (2003 to 2005), followed by a recurring role on Waterloo Road (2007).

After graduating high school, Holliday attended the University of Leeds, but due to her busy acting schedule, she left the university and later completed her English degree online. She finished with a First Class Honors Degree.

Holliday's movie debut came in the 2009 small budget film Awaydays, but her big break was in the 2011 period piece Jane Eyre, starring Michael Fassbender and Mia Wasikowska. She continued in period piece roles by playing Suzanne Rousset in Bel Ami (2012) starring Robert Pattinson, in Anna Karenina (2012) alongside Jude Law and Keira Knightley and in Great Expectations (2012) with Ralph Fiennes.

Holliday returned to TV to star alongside Jeremy Irons in the series The Borgias. On the big screen she joined a number of upcoming young actors such as Douglas Booth and Max Irons in the prep school drama The Riot Club (2014), which screened at the Toronto International Film Festival. Her biggest roles to date have been as Bonnie Parker in the TV mini-series Bonnie and Clyde (2013), and as the title character's stepsister Anastasia in Disney's box office smash, Cinderella (2015).

The rising actress can most recently be seen in the true story elements flick The Finest Hours (2016) alongside Chris Pine, the period drama Tulip Fever (2017) starring Alicia Vikander, and the mystery drama My Cousin Rachel (2017) with Rachel Weisz and Sam Claflin.

In May 2010, Holliday was named one of the 55 faces of the future in Nylon magazine’s Young Hollywood Issue.

To keep in shape, Holliday enjoys jogging.
