Nicoletta Braschi Overview

Nicoletta Braschi initially met Roberto Benigni on the set of her first film, Tu mi turbi (1983). Benigni not only directed and starred in the film, but co-wrote the screenplay with Giuseppe Bertolucci. Braschi’s next film appearance was in Segreti segreti (1985), written and directed by Bertolucci, but it was Benigni who won her heart.
