Horrible Resolution for Movies in 2017?

February 19, 2017

Watched "Hidden Figures." The movie was great, but the picture resolution was horrible. The movie was dark and not in HD. It almost looked a bit blurry. There was a black filmy cloud around the whole picture. For 2017, this should NOT be happening. Don't go to the Alamo Quarry!

Horrible experience!

December 26, 2018

I went with a cousin and my sister for Christmas to watch Aquaman. The first showing we went to, the sound system was HORRIBLE! At least half the audio was static-y and unbearable. A few people left, including us. We asked for tickets to the next showing. They said the sound system would most likely be fixed for the next showing. I was surprised they made us pay more money because the current showing was "mantinee" and the next one wasn't, even though it was completely their fault we had to go to the next showing. The still kept the movie going and didn't refund other people's money. I suspected if they hadn't fixed the sound system, they would cancel the showing out of respect to the audience, but when we started watching the next showing finally, all they had done was have the vocal audio as the primary sound and all the background music was almost inaudible. My cousin and I were upset, but my sister was tired of waiting and had work in the morning and therefor didn't want to leave and wait another 2+ hours for the following showing. I appalled they didn't AT THE VERY LEAST refund 50% of the ticket for only only 50% of the audio (if even that).
